I am trying to win the contract to manage the Democratic presidential campaign. I need to convince them that I have the best strategy to win the majority of Electoral College votes in the upcoming election. My candidiate has good grassroots base in the mid-west and in both the northeast and west coast. He was week in the South, Southwest, and the northern tier of states. He fared well with women voters and middle class, gays, Latinos, and elderly. Did not score highly with African Americans. He is not the incumbent. He is a former gov. of Virginia and junior Senator from that state. He is a veteran and served in the first Iraq war. VP running mate is a female and polls very highly w/women and blacks. My opponent is the sitting VP and is over 70, from FL. He is a veteran of Vietnam. He polls well w/men, Christians, low income voters, and Latinos in FL>. I need to advise my candidate which states to concentrate time and money on. My electoral college has to be 270 or more. HELP

Is there a feee and comprehensive listing of lobbyists and political consulting groups?

I’m especially looking for ones involved in foreign affairs and based in DC. I’ve forgotten the name of a man who runs a consulting firm that I’m attempting to research (I believe his surname which is part of the firm’s name was Brennan, or Brandon or something similar)
I had checked Google listings and it was not on it — considering that there several hundred lobyists in DC for every elected official I would imagine there must be a more robust list out there somewhere but thanks for the responses.

Try http://www.wikipedia.org. As an alternative, try one of the watchdog groups. I think one is Common Cause. Not that I’m saying the one you’re looking for is bad, but some of the watchdog groups like to group all of them together. As a last resort, see if you Representative’s office can help you.

Our president takes his political decisions after consulting an astrologer, are there others like him ?

Problem is that they are stupid astrologers, with lots of totally weird superstitious ideas. Does this only happen in Africa and Asia or are there other places in the world, where they have similair attitudes ? Anyone who knows a real good astrologer who can give him more sensible advice ?

apparently,the stars in outer space spell out some kind of morse code answer.i think george’s astrological consultant translated most of the morse codes wrong because that’s not his/her area of expertise but bush assumed that the astrologer had all the answers(that he wanted to hear)astrology is just about as reliable as a magic 8 ball that rotates 8 generic answers,which are universally acceptable.it’s not a good idea to rely on astrology but if something negative happens,then they can always blame it on the sky and not feel as bad,since they’re not completely responsible for their own decisions.i hope there aren’t other high power officials,who make important world changing decisions using these techniques.if george is superstitious,then he probably broke a mirror sometime in between his 2 terms in office…8 years of bad luck or something.yikes!

President of India has no direct power as per Constitution of INDIA
Steps:
1) Council of Ministers recommend it to president then President sign it.

2) After signing, Council of Ministers declares National emergency under article 352 of Constitution Of INDIA.Under this emergency, Miltary receives all order by Council of Ministers Of INDIA, which is signed by President of INDIA.

Military can’t march to border or war, until order signed by President of INDIA

I want to start a political consulting company. I have campaign and political internship exp. but don’t know where or how to get started. Help please

Normally, the reason you start a consulting company is that you have a combination of A) In-demand skills and B) the network to get it off the ground.

Which aspect of starting a consulting company are you having trouble with? Right now, your problem seems so broad it’s difficult to say…
